Lawas Airport (IATA: LWY, ICAO: WBGW) is an airport serving Lawas, a town in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia.
Currently,a plan had been made to relocate the current airport to a new area, since the current area is considered unsafe (as the airport is located near a river, and there a several land corrosion on the riverbank being spotted). The proposed new airport will be able to accommodate ATR 72-500 aircraft used by MASwings, and the airport will be used not only by people in Lawas, but also people in surrounding Sarawak-Sabah border.
